About Me
I have always loved to write, even as a young kid. During 4th grade, I sped through the entire Harry Potter series and would use my creative writing time in school to write fantasy stories. My interest shifted in 8th grade as I encouraged myself to become more involved in politics during the 2020 election. I kept up with the race and developed my own opinions. As I've gotten older, I have kept myself aware of current world issues through social media and reliable news sources. I hope to combine these two interests that I've developed into my career where I can inform and educate concerned citizens on important issues. So far, I have started to work on my school's student newspaper, The Eagle, and have been promoted to local news reporter after a year as a news reporter. I have also experienced public relations writing as an intern for Scouting America, NCAC, as well as developing graphic designs for their social media pages. After my freshman year, I feel even more inspired to continue my work in this field and completed the year with a 3.93 GPA. Outside of my professional experience, I love to dance, travel, and explore all DC has to offer!
